Ann Margaret Fisher (née Yeager), aged 87, passed away peacefully on Saturday July 25, 2026, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Born on January 15, 1939, in Pittsburgh, Ann lived a full and vibrant life marked by her love for family, nature, and exploration.
Ann pursued her education at Allegheny College and the University of Pittsburgh, laying the foundation for a life enriched by curiosity and learning. Her passion for discovery extended beyond academics; she was an avid traveler who cherished the opportunity to explore the world alongside her husband Henry. These adventures instilled in her a deep appreciation for the beauty of nature and the diversity of cultures.
A devoted mother and grandmother, Ann is survived by her two sons, Andrew (Anne) and William, as well as six grandchildren: Madison (Amerigo), Lawson, Henry (Cady), Blake (Harry), Adah and David. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Henry in 2012 and her grandson Austin in 2025. Ann’s family was central to her life, and she found immense joy in their company.
Ann had a lifelong love of birding and could often be found marveling at the wonders of avian life. Her affection for animals extended to pets as well, who were cherished companions throughout her life. She also enjoyed playing cards—a pastime that brought laughter and camaraderie to gatherings with friends and loved ones.
Those who knew Ann will remember her as a spirited individual whose passions brought light to those around her. Whether traveling the globe or enjoying quiet moments observing birds in their natural habitat, she embraced life with enthusiasm and grace.
