Antonio Fazio

On Tuesday January 17, 2023, Antonio Fazio of Penn Hills at age 87. Beloved husband of Rita Fazio. Loving father of Anthony Fazio and Donna Pirollo (Chester Pirollo), and reunited in Heaven with his late daughter Joanna Dymond (surviving Robert Dymond). Caring grandfather of Michele Cenci (Cody Cenci), Michael Pirollo, Lauren Dymond and Robert Dymond. Also survived by nieces, nephews and friends. Antonio was born in Alvito, Italy. During his younger years, he moved to France, and then later moved to Toronto, Canada. While in Canada, he was introduced to his wife Rita, who was also from Alvito, Italy and moved to Pittsburgh. In 1958, Antonio and Rita got married and moved to Pittsburgh to start their family. Antonio is known for his strong work ethic and ran a successful concrete business for 50 years. When he wasn’t pouring concrete, Antonio had a passion for growing tomatoes and gardening. He loved spending time with his family and enjoying the sunny days and evening sunsets on his back porch. (freyvogelfuneralhome.com) 4900 Centre Avenue at Devonshire Street on Friday from 3-8p.m. Funeral Saturday, Mass of Christian Burial, St. Paul Cathedral 10a.m. At the request of the family, everyone please meet at church.
