Beaufort Longest, Jr. Obituary

On Friday January 17, 2025, Beaufort B. Longest, Jr. passed away at home after a brief and sudden illness. He was professor emeritus of Health Policy Management at the University of Pittsburgh, as well as the M. Allen Pond Professor and founding director of the University's Health Policy Institute. He is survived by his beloved wife, Carolyn; their sons, Beaufort Longest, III of San Jose, CA, and Courtland Longest (Mariah) of Gibsonia and was preceded in death by their daughter, Carolyn "Lyn" in 1972.
