Brendan J. Laffey

On Wednesday August 23, 2023, beloved husband of Jackie Laffey; pre-deceased by his parents’ Alice and Edward R. Laffey and siblings, Regina Caldwell and Matthew Laffey; Brendan is survived by his siblings, Theresa Laffey (Walt Barry), Monica Radkowski (Lou), Regis Laffey (Pamela), Father Matthew Laffey, O.S.B., Edward Laffey, Roseann Parker (Dominick), Alice Leone (Peter), Meg Vaughan (Michael), Helen Kondrich (Keith) and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Son-in-law of James and the late Elaine Elardo and brother-in-law of Jocelyn McGrath (Regis), Julie Peart (David), Jill Misavage, Jennifer Smuts (Dave) and the late Jamie Gentile (late Larry), as well as nieces and nephews. Brendan was a proud graduate of Central Catholic High School Class of 1982 and a member of AOH Division #21. He was a wonderful husband, brother, nephew, uncle and friend to all who met him. (freyvogelfuneralhome.com) 4900 Centre Avenue at Devonshire Street on Friday August 25, 2023 from 2-7PM  Funeral Saturday August 26, 2023, Mass of Christian Burial, St. Joseph the Worker Parish, Madonna del Castello Church (2021 S. Braddock Avenue PGH, PA 15218)) at 10:00AM. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to AOH Division #21 – 250 S. Evaline Street PGH, PA 15224.
