Carolyn G. Mozlack

On Monday May 23, 2022, Carolyn G. Mozlack passed away after a 3-month battle with thyroid cancer attacking her thyroid, spine and then body. We are still stunned with the speed of the disease. Carolyn is survived by her twin sister Patricia Hoesch and stepsister Nancy Humphreys and devoted friend Tom Burgunder and many friends. She was a registered dietician and loved all her work assignments, also enjoyed her retirement job at Starbucks as Barista and Coffee Master. An active person, Carolyn completed 24 marathons and ran with the Hot Harry’s North Park Runners. She was devoted to her church, Most Precious Blood of Jesus Parish. Friends will be received at John A. Freyvogel Sons, Inc. (freyvogelfuneralhome.com) 4900 Centre Avenue at Devonshire Street on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8p.m. Funeral Friday, Requiem Mass at Most Precious Blood of Jesus Parish, 3250 California Avenue Pittsburgh, PA 15212, at 10 a.m. with a Rosary to start ½ hour before the Mass. (Everyone please gather at the church.) Remembrances may be made to the church with checks sent directly to 3250 California Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15212, with “Parish Share” on the memo line.
