Connie L. Tepe

On Friday October 13, 2023 at age 81, beloved wife of the late Dr. Joseph "Doc" Tepe; mother of Douglas J. Tepe (Martha), Matt Tepe (Diane), Michael Tepe (Jennifer), Drew Tepe (Sarah) and the late Tammy Bright (Bill); grandmother of Brendan Tepe (Danielle), Sean and Shannon Tepe, Jake, Ben and Olivia Tepe, Izzy Tepe, Chris, Taylor, Alec and Erin Bright; sister of Penny Natale (J.C.) and Greg Lehner (Sandy). Connie was born and raised in Elizabeth Township and was a graduate of Elizabeth-Forward High School, Robert Morris Business School and after raising her family continued her education by earning a nursing degree and Bachelor's degree in education. Connie served as a substitute teacher in the Erie Public Schools for over 30 years, was an accomplished artist and budding author. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and a sister who created a loving home for her family and friends alike. Friends will be at John A. Freyvogel Sons, Inc. (freyvogelfuneralhome.com) 4900 Centre Avenue at Devonshire Street on Sunday from 6p.m. until an 8p.m. Funeral Service.  Interment will be private.
