David J. Harper

On Wednesday June 30, 2021, David J. Harper, age 49, our beloved son, who was also a beloved father, brother, uncle, cousin, nephew, and friend passed away suddenly.  He was in the early stages of fighting severe lung cancer.  David was kind, helpful with a quirky sense of humor and will be missed by all. He is the son of Catherine and John Harper and Roger and Maria Sobkowiak.  He is the brother of Michael (Amy) Sobkowiak, Katie (Dave) Gancy, John (Jenn) Harper, Maggie Harper, Liz Harper, Marissa Vermeulen (Kevin White), and Ivo Vermeulen.  He is the father of Tyler Harvey, Lexie Harper, and Ryan Harper. He will also be missed by good friends April and Jeff Kenyon, and his wonderful friends at the Essex House. Friends will be received for a celebration of David’s life at John A. Freyvogel Sons, Inc.
