Devoted father of Zenola (Marcus) Dewberry, Sandra (Marzell) Turner, Bridgette Howard, Morgan Russell, stepson Frank White Jr, and the late Jennifer Russell. Brother of Lucious (Lottie) Gates, Oliver Gates, Jake Russell, Silas Tommy Gates, Lillie M. (Rev. Hardwick) Griffin, Juanita Gates, Edna M. Hayes, Josephine (Bobby) Robinson, and Angelyne R. (Paul) Johnson.  Grandfather of fifteen grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at John A. Freyvogel Sons, Inc.
