Jeffrey A. Au Obituary

Jeffrey Allen Au, age 71, of O’Hara Township passed away on Friday August 15, 2025, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. Jeff was born on April 24, 1954, to Martha Pendleton and Charles Au in Mansfield, OH.

Jeff was a joyful, kind, and generous man with a goofy sense of humor. He loved his family and his neighbors. He enjoyed music, he loved watching the Pittsburgh Penguins and laughed heartily every time Wipeout came on the television. He enjoyed working in his yard and tending the garden. Jeff was always ready and willing to help anyone who needed it, be it friend, family, or even four-legged friends.  He was a Cubmaster and Den Leader when his sons were in Cub Scouts. He served as an Elder at Fox Chapel Presbyterian Church. He worked as CFO for a number of businesses over the years. Most recently he served in that capacity at the Center of Life in Hazelwood and he enjoyed attending the concerts performed by the COL youth.

Jeff is survived by his wife Judy, his children Jenny Au, Jay Au (Monica), Jesson Au, and Julie  Noyes (Mike), his 4 grandchildren Emma Au, Kate Noyes, Steel Noyes, and Tres Noyes, his parents Charles Au (Carol) and Martha Pendleton, his siblings Roger Au (Lorel) and Cathy Koenig (Marlon) as well as nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his stepfather Phil Pendleton.
