Age 82, of Forest Hills and Mount Lebanon, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 1, 2025. Beloved wife for 57 years to the late John Kartsonas; loving mother of Dean (Katie), Alexia (Keith) Rheinhardt and Stephanie Arnold; devoted grandmother of Sophia, Jack, Emilia Kartsonas, Mason Rheinhardt, Alexa and Tessa Arnold; also survived by sister-in-law, Dora and nephews, Tom and Al Kartsonas. Preceded in death by her father, Gus and mother, Irene (Carosso) Rinios, brother Ted and son-in-law, Ed Arnold. JoAnn was born and raised in Forest Hills and was a graduate of Edgewood High School. JoAnn enjoyed her years selling Real Estate and working at the Heinz History Center. She grew up as a member of Ypapanti Greek Orthodox Church and became a member of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral and Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church where she liked preparing and serving at their food festivals. She loved traveling, art exhibits, Broadway shows, flowers and keeping up with current events. JoAnn will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who was devoted to her family and friends. May her memory be eternal. Friends will be received on Monday, April 7th in St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 419 S. Dithridge Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15213 from 10:00 a.m. until an 11:00 a.m. Funeral Service.
