John P. "Jack" Samuels

John P. “Jack” Samuels, 76 years old, beloved husband of the late Patricia Samuels, son of the late Nelda (Lagnese) Samuels and Jack H. Samuels, brother to Thomas E. Samuels (Dolores Daniels Samuels), Charles P. Samuels (the late Rhea “Duffy” Samuels), Richard R. Samuels (Lisa “Seifert” Samuels) along with many nieces and nephews, passed away at the Pittsburgh VA Hospital on Thursday, January 22, 2026. Jack was a retired welder and metal worker, and a United States Air Force veteran. He enjoyed traveling and cooking. Friends will be received at John A. Freyvogel Sons, Inc. 4900 Centre Avenue at Devonshire Street (freyvogelfuneralhome.com) on Wednesday January 28, 2026 from 2-6PM. Funeral Thursday, January 29, Mass of Christian Burial St. Paul Cathedral 10:00AM. Entombment will be private. In lieu of flowers the family kindly requests that donations be made to Boys & Girls Club of Western PA in Jack’s honor.
