Judy Febbraro, age 76, of Shaler Township, passed away at her
home on Wednesday, August 16, 2023. Beloved wife of Carmelo
Febbraro; loving mother of Maria (Kaivon) Maknoon, Nino
(Colleen), and Frank; devoted grandmother of Andrew, Nicholas,
Dante, Isabella, Michael, Olivia and Vincent; sister of Mary Alice
(the late Anthony) Castelli and James (Margie) Martorelli; and
daughter of the late Julius and Mae Martorelli.
Judy recently retired after approximately 40 years of managing the
cafeterias of Oakland Catholic and Saint Paul Cathedral High Schools.
“Miss Judy,” as she was fondly referred to by the thousands of
students she served, will be remembered most for her laughter,
vibrant personality, and well-known cookies. Judy cherished her
family and friends, keeping traditions alive, and cooking Sunday
dinners. Judy was a dear friend to so many and always put the
needs of others first.
Friends received at John A. Freyvogel Sons, Inc. 4900 Centre Avenue at Devonshire Street on
Sunday from 1-6p.m. Funeral Monday, Mass of Christian Burial, St. Jude Parish, St. Raphael Church 10a.m.
Entombment to follow at Mt. Royal Cemetery.
Judy was steadfast in her Catholic faith. In lieu of flowers, the
