Kam Wing Yip passed away peacefully March 11th, 2021 in Pittsburgh PA. Born December 19 1953 in Hong Kong where he spent much of his childhood. He is survived by his wife Min Fang Yip; his son and daughter: Stanley and Shirley. His sisters and brother: Yuk Lin, Wai Lin, Alice, Wayne, Lily, and his mother Ngan Tai Tsoi. He immigrated to the United States in 1982 and worked myriad jobs until he met his wife in 1985 and they soon married. They settled in Pittsburgh and they opened their first restaurant and had their first child 1987 and their second in 1991. He worked tirelessly and provided a good life for his family and afforded them many opportunities. A man of few words he frequently helped people who asked and never expected any rewards or thanks. He was a member of the Pittsburgh Chinese Restaurant Association and frequently attended meetings to help other immigrants gain their footing. Friends will be received at John A. Freyvogel Sons, Inc.
