Kathryn A. Swierczyk
On Monday July 18, 2022, Kathy was called back to Heaven by her Angels. Beloved wife of Edward Swierczyk; mother of sons Edward and Bradley Swierczyk, and daughter Chelcey Librich. Also survived by eight grandchildren. Daughter of John and Frances Kalinowski who preceded her in death. Sister of Stanley and Stephan Kalinowski, Irene Palladino, Mary Falatovich, Anna Jackson and the late John and Michael Kalinowski. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Kathy was a long-term employee of the UPMC Radiation Oncology Department. She enjoyed hobbies of crocheting and planting flowers, but her happy place was as a volunteer at the Cultural Trust and at the shore. Friends will be received on Saturday July 30, 2022, at St. Paul Cathedral, 108 N. Dithridge Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15213, from 9 until 9:45 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to UPMC Cancer Center for Amyloidosis Cancer Research.
