Luette Mertz Bowen

Of Mt. Lebanon and formerly of “4130” in Toledo, Ohio passed away on Sunday August 14, 2022, with her family at her bedside. Luette was the daughter of the late Lawrence C. and Margaret A. Mertz and the sister of Joseph Mertz; mother of Michael Bowen (Debbie), Brent Bowen (Beth), Cindy Bowen Liu (and granddaughter Erin), Keith Bowen (Marilyn); also survived by five grandsons. Luette cherished every parent and child she served at Northgate and Chartiers Valley School Districts and was a member of the South Hills Bible Chapel. “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” John 14:6 “But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you” John 14:26. “The Holy Spirit was with our Mother and comforted her into the right hand of Jesus our Lord.” There will be no visitation and funeral and interment will be private.
