Margaret Lalonde Byrne

Margaret Lalonde Byrne passed away on August 23, 2023. Born in Clinton, NY, she was the daughter of the late Mildred and Eugene Lalonde; she was the beloved wife of James Byrne for fifty-seven years and the mother of Erin Elizabeth Byrne of Florida and Rev. Peter Byrne, FSSP, of Virginia. Through the years, the family lived in New York, New Jersey, and Texas as well as Pittsburgh. After completing her studies in art, she became a commercial artist. She chose to be a stay-at-home mother, but continued her lifelong love of art where she received numerous awards and recognition for her work. Margaret and Jim were fortunate to be able to travel throughout the world, and with being fluent in French, her favorite city was Paris. The most important qualities that represent Margaret's life were her kind demeanor, love and dedication to her family and her Catholic faith. She attended daily Mass.
