Passed peacefully on Monday, December 12, 2022, after a courageous battle against cancer.  Beloved husband of Elizabeth, adored father to Vivian, Abigail (deceased), and William.  Cherished brother to Elizabeth Sattler and Maeve Sattler (Zach Zafris).  Michael is the treasured son of Robert and Ruth Sattler.  He is also survived by his in-laws, John and Susie Marteeny, as well as his many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins in the Sattler, Lareau, Seliy, Priselac, Falbo, Rencewicz, Rost, List, and Grosso families.

Michael was incredibly devoted to his immediate and extended family, including his friends, who he considered to be his family.  He loved the outdoors and could always be found biking, camping, skiing, and playing tennis.  When he was not outdoors, he was a talented home renovator.  But, most importantly, he will always be remembered as a warm and caring husband, dad, and friend.

Friends will be received on Friday December 16, 2022 from 2-4 and 6-8pm and on Saturday December 17, 2022 from 10:00 AM until an 11:00 AM Funeral Service at John A. Freyvogel Sons, Inc. 4900 Centre Avenue at Devonshire Street (freyvogelfuneralhome.com).
