Nicholas "Nick" Antonuccio
On Friday February 28, 2025, beloved husband of Jeanne Chirigos Antonuccio; father of Kristen Antonuccio (Jeffrey Katzman), Marne Hayes (Erin Hayes), Josh Antonuccio (Leah Joy Malberg) and Nicole Antonuccio (Bill Stern); grandfather of Johanna, Gabriel, and Shiloh Antonuccio and Pepina Jeanne Stern-Antonuccio; son of the late Josephine and Rocco Antonuccio and brother of the late Frank Antonuccio. Also survived by nieces and nephews.
Nick Antonuccio led an extraordinary life. Born in Indiana, PA to Italian American parents, he developed a reputation as a loyal friend and natural born leader. His trajectory started with his role as captain of the basketball team and high school class president, grew upwards to serving as president of his fraternity Delta Tau Delta at the University of Pittsburgh, and led all the way to starting and leading innovative companies on the cutting edge of technology.
Above all else, Nick valued family. He was a devoted husband to his wife, Jeanne, and a role model to his four children Kristen, Marne, Josh, and Nicole, their spouses, and four grandchildren. With his family, Nick created a lifetime of memories that became fodder for many warm hours reminiscing around the family dinner table.
Nick loved to travel and had an insatiable passion for food and wine that he shared with Jeanne. Their travels took them across Italy and beyond.
Nick valued a life of service as a dedicated member of the Knights of Columbus and was a parishioner of St. Paul’s Cathedral.
He made and cultivated friendships deep and wide in every area of his life. An avid golfer and tennis player, he cherished both the competition and the camaraderie.
A man of great integrity, Nick’s character was the formidable piece that drew people to him, and was the foundation for all of his relationships. He spoke and listened with equal intent, and in spite of his lifetime of accomplishments, he modeled humility over gravitas above all else.
He leaves a legacy that will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
