On Wednesday, June 12, 2024, Peter Anthony Joseph André Foxhoven went to Heaven. He was the youngest of five children. He was a man of great fortitude and joy who let his light shine out to others. People were constantly drawn to Peter; he was our “share baby”. He was here to teach us to love, how to pray, and how to, “Accept the Will of God in everything that happens to you.” (John F. Donahue) Peter had full trust in God and now enjoys His loving presence.
It may seem that Peter had a short life, but to someone who was given only a few short months to live, twenty years was just the right amount of time. When Peter was an infant he received a miracle at the at the tomb of Saint André Bessette in Montreal, and his entire life served as a testimony to God’s Divine Power.
Peter was the most patient uncle who loved to share his cool ride. He was a loving and devoted son who gave as much as he received. He was a fun brother who knew how to belly laugh at a good joke. Peter was a car trip expert, a world traveler, and a milkshake enthusiast, but above all he was a true child of God who knew his dignity and worth came from Him alone.
Nobody who met Peter will ever forget “The Rock”, who upon this earth served to build up the Church.
Peter is remembered by his devoted parents Craig and Rebecca Foxhoven, his siblings Craig Jr., Paul, Shannon and Luke, and Connor, and his niece and nephews Aurora Marie, Ambrose, and Bonaventure, cousins, aunts, uncles and dear friends.
Jesus, I trust in You!
