Robert N. Isacke, Jr.
On Wednesday, March 18, 2026, beloved husband of Bonnie W. Isacke; son of the late Robert N. and Mary Beazel Isacke; survived by his brother John Isacke (Hilary) and their three sons, Ross Isacke (Ria) and children Desmond and Eamon; Curtis Isacke (Eve) and children Eliza, Anders, and Thea, and Miles Isacke (Aislinn) and children Maebh and Owen Murphy; his sister Beth Isacke and her daughter Michaela Parent; and sister Mary Isacke Whiting; brother of the late Adrienne Isacke and Karen Isacke; brother-in-law of Carolyn Amrhein (James) and their children Alexis Salerno (Mitch) and their children Kate and Emma; James Amrhein(Rachel) and their children Olivia and Aliza Amrhein and Logan Watson.
Bob was a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and a member of the Phi Kappa Theta fraternity. He also attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. Bob practiced Law in Pittsburgh for over 53 years, beginning his career as an Assistant District of Attorney, then moving on to be the Police Legal Advisor for the City of Pittsburgh Bureau of Police for over 20 years, and finally private practice. During his free time, Bob enjoyed skiing, vacationing on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, as well as traveling to New York City often where he enjoyed fine dining, sightseeing and the theatre. Bob was an avid reader, and he had a passion for thrillers, spy novels and police procedurals. More importantly, Bob was a kind, generous and thoughtful person who was greatly loved by family and friends alike.
Friends will be received at John A Freyvogel Sons, Inc, 4900 Centre Avenue at Devonshire Street (freyvogelfuneralhome.com) on Friday April 24, 2026 from 4:00-6:00p.m. Funeral - Saturday April 25, 2026, Mass of Christian Burial St. Paul Cathedral at 10:00a.m. followed by interment at Calvary Cemetery.
