On Thursday October 20, 2022, Sandra DiGioia Williamson, beloved wife of 52 years to Charles F. “Frank” Williamson, Jr. died after a lengthy illness. She is survived by her siblings Marianne L. DiGioia, Anthony C. DiGioia, Catherine M. Schulbaum and the late Theresa, John A., and Michael J. DiGioia. She is also survived by numerous loved nieces and nephews.

Sandra was an international economist in business, an Associate Professor at the Graduate School of Public and International Affairs at the University of Pittsburgh, and Phi Beta Kappa at the University of Pennsylvania. Sandra loved to travel and saw much of the world and enjoyed 15 happy winters on Sanibel Island. She loved and supported the arts. She served on the Boards of many charities, and had a special place in her heart for her cat, named Mr. B. 

Friends will be received at John A. Freyvogel Sons, Inc. (freyvogelfuneralhome.com) 4900 Centre Avenue at Devonshire Street on Tuesday from 11a.m. until a 12 noon Memorial Service.
