Sandra H. Pesavento, age 82, of O’Hara Township, Pennsylvania passed away

peacefully on Sunday, July 2, 2023. She was born on May 22,1941, in Pittsburgh,

PA, the daughter of the late George Heath, and his wife, Marie (Napier) Heath.

She was preceded in death by her cherished husband of 54 years, Joseph A.

Pesavento.  Sandra graduated from Thiel College in 1963 before returning to

Pittsburgh where she taught mathematics at the secondary level until marrying.

Once married, Sandra supported Joe in his professional career and was a member

of the Junior League of Pittsburgh, Inc. and the Woman’s Association of the

Pittsburgh Symphony to name a few.  She worked diligently to raise awareness

and funds for the nonprofit causes that she cared about. Never one to sit still,

Sandra also used her skills to usher many Pittsburgh brides to the altar as a

wedding planner.  Through these varied efforts, Sandra and Joe made dear and

life-long friendships which only grew better with age.  They found in one another

the very best of friends with whom to spend more than half a century together. 

Sandra is survived by an extended family from Delaware to Nebraska.

Friends will be received at John A. Freyvogel Sons, Inc. (freyvogelfuneralhome.com) 4900 Centre Avenue at Devonshire Street on Saturday July 15 from 9:30a.m. until a service of remembrance at 10:30a.m. Interment will be private.
