On Wednesday September 17, 2025, beloved dearest husband of Portia Policastro  Irwin; father of Terri Lynn Irwin Hudak (late James) and Darrin Irwin; grandfather of Christopher Hudak and Jessica Hudak Palmieri (Vito). Terry was a Golden Gloves Boxing Champion in the 1950's, and was a boxing, lifeguard, weight lifting and swimming instructor. He was a retired Electrical Design Engineer with numerous engineering firms in the Pittsburgh area, whose scope covered projects throughout the United States, including the USX Tower and many steel mills from Indiana, to Alabama and Pittsburgh. Friends will be received at John A. Freyvogel Sons, Inc. 4900 Centre Avenue at Devonshire Street (freyvogelfuneralhome.com) on Sunday September 21, 2025 from 2-4PM and 6-8PM. Funeral Monday, Mass of Christian Burial St. Bede Church of St. Mary Magdalene Parish at 10:30AM. Interment in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
