Carey, Kevin M. Carey, James O'Toole Carey (Ashley) and the late Thomas M. Carey; grandfather of Brendon, Carey, Katie, Riley, Mary, Michael, Seamus, Quinn, Ruby, Maeve and Thomas. Tom was preceded in death by his parents Paul and Johanna Carey and brothers, Paul and James; also survived by his cherished nieces and nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Our beautiful father left a legacy of love, generosity and perseverance. Memories of Tom will forever remain in our hearts. Tom was the Commander of the Soldiers and Sailor’s Club of Greenfield and will be greatly missed by his many friends in the club. Tom was a proud veteran who served in the United States Army. He was an avid golfer who had the good fortune of scoring three Hole-In-Ones. Our deepest gratitude is extended to Dr. Stuart Tauberg, the staff at the Pittsburgh VA Hospital and Interim Hospice for the exceptional care provided to our father. Friends will be received at John A. Freyvogel Sons, Inc. 4900 Centre Avenue at Devonshire Street (freyvogelfuneralhome.com) on Monday from 2-8 following all current CDC guidelines. Private Funeral Mass of Christian Burial at Saint Paul Cathedral Parish at St. Regis Church.
