On Saturday July 12, 2025, beloved wife of the late Peter P. Poland; mother of Peter J. Poland (late Karen Simon-Poland), Dennis M. Poland, and James S. Poland (Rebecca Schneid); grandmother of Peter S. Poland (Andrea), Eugenia B. Knudsen (Anders), Jennifer Wahlig (John), Carolyn O'Leary (Matthew), Dennis Poland (Lauren), James S. Poland, II, Alyson Skaggs (Thomas), Elizabeth Poland (Cullen Maag), and Kathleen Campbell (Jeremy); also survived by 14 great-grandchildren and pre-deceased by her parents, Veronica and James Pappas, and her sisters, Alice and Dolores Pappas. Friends will be received at John A. Freyvogel Sons, Inc. 4900 Centre Avenue at Devonshire Street on Tuesday July 15, 2025 from 2-4 and 6-8PM with Trisagion Service 7PM.
