Vincent A. Diulus

 

Unexpectedly on Sunday July 11, 2021, beloved son of Catherine Degener Diulus and the late Honorable Nicholas A. Diulus; brother of Gregory N. Diulus (Grace), Philomena Senko (Robert), Victoria Sansom (Ron), Catherine Marshall (Scott) and the late Cynthia M. Diulus; also survived by his niece, Claire Polik (Matt), nephew Nicholas Diulus (Kenzie) and his nephews and best friends, Bobby Senko, Kristopher Senko (Kristi) and Michael Senko; proud great uncle of Grady and Olivia Senko; also Aunts and many cousins. Vince was a graduate of Schenley HS, a former visiting dugout bat boy for the Pittsburgh Pirates at both Forbes Field and Three Rivers Stadium, and a former shortstop for Point Park University and St. John’s of the Federation League. Vince managed several Oakland restaurants, including Mr. C’s, Pinocchio’s, and Win, Place and Show, before working for Allegheny County as a supervisor in the Carpentry Division for over 20 years. Vince will be remembered as a man who loved being around family, friends and especially “Uncle Vinny’s Pool Friends” at the Diulus’ Oakland home. Friends will be received at John A. Freyvogel Sons, Inc. 4900 Centre Avenue at Devonshire Street on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 and Thursday July 15, 2021from 2-4 and 6-8pm.
